Once again, tough decisions are made.........what stays and what goes. Sometime this isn't so
easy, because for me, it is like being a kid, picking your "wish list" items out of a J.C. Penny
catalog at Christmas. My problem is I buy all my wish list items!!! The fireworks industry
continues to get more creative in producing the type of items you may see at the "big show"
but still keeping it in compliance with the C.P.S.C.(consumer product safety commission).
Every year, more and more people come to POPPER'S and ask us to put together their 4th of
July show. This year we will be stocking and displaying over 300 different items in our stores.
We continue to bring in new items every year. Some of my favorites are the multi-effect
cakes, 500 gram cakes and artillery shells. The cakes and shells are real crowd pleaser, just
like the big shows. The "HEAVY" canister artillery shells are the biggest and best burst for
your buck. We are also offering the newest in remote control firing systems. This allows you
to put together your entire finale at a safe distance and firing your show the way you want it
to go and when you want it to go!
Some of the new items this year include fan patterned cakes, Z-effect cakes, IVW pattern
cakes, 200 shot cakes with long duration, 2" & 3" tube shot cakes, long duration fountains,
"happy face" or patterned rockets, 600+ shot saturn missiles, unique "pastel & neon" colored
fountains, fish or bee effect cakes, mine or ground up cakes and multi-layered artillery shells.
